Microsoft’s 2026 release wave 1 covers features planned between April and September 2026. For existing Power Apps estates, the important question is not how many features are arriving, but which changes affect usability, support, deployment and the way makers work.

- Connector development: CLI support for discovering, creating and wiring connectors in code apps is listed for general availability in July 2026.
- Navigation and summaries: streamlined header and navigation, plus enhanced row summaries, are listed for August 2026.
- Canvas app connectivity: online mode for accessing Dataverse is listed for preview in August and general availability in September 2026.
